On Micromanaging


The next time you feel someone’s micromanaging you, ask yourself why they might feel the need to do it.

Flip side…

If you catch yourself micromanaging, ask yourself what you’ve done or not done to help someone do the work well on their own.

Either way ... the best bet to improving something you don’t like is to start by recognizing the part you play in it.
